The Land Title Association of Arizona, an Arizona non-profit corporation (LTAA) was founded in 1932 and is affiliated with the American Land Title Association (ALTA). The LTAA is an Arizona corporation whose active members include individuals or entities engaged in the business of insuring titles to real property in the State of Arizona as either a title insurance underwriter or agent. Affiliate memberships to promote inter-industry education and communication on matters of common interest and support title insurance and escrow procedures are also available.
The objectives and purposes of the LTAA are to:

Promote sound and ethical business practices among members.

Provide for the collection, study and dissemination of information relating to problems of and improvements in land title evidence, escrow services and other related services.

Promote and encourage sound legislation affecting land titles, escrow and other related services.

Recommend, prepare, and encourage use of policy forms, endorsements and practices which will best serve the public interest.

Educate and inform the public of the integrity and stability of its members and the advantages and desirability of their services.
The LTAA has made the following proposals to the ATA:

The LTAA will welcome any former members of ATA into its membership in the capacity in which they qualify; (Art. III)

The LTAA will accept the current Chair of the ATA Legislative Committee as a Co-Chair of the LTAA Legislative Committee; (Art. VIII.4.)

The LTAA will form a new Committee to address “trustee’s sale” matters, as such specialized and focused attention may be required from time to time; (Art. VIII.10)

As an initial offering for the calendar year 2025 only, the LTAA will accept any current members of the ATA in good standing and in the capacity in which they qualify, for the registration cost they are currently assessed as members of the ATA. In years after 2025, they will pay the LTAA registration for regular members in the capacity in which they qualify.
